Recently, I joined a Beginners Forum on Voice Thread. I’m still learning quite a bit about using different tools. I’m not really even sure how best to use VT, but hope to gain more knowledge on this new and up and coming technology. With help, I would like to use this kind of tool in the classroom or for student use on my school website. Eventually this may be useful for students to use when reviewing lectures or to incorporate long distance learning activities into the classroom. I’ll be researching…

I recently saw this video on YouTube and it kind of took me aback… I didn’t really think about lowering student creativity levels until I watched this. The movie is from the TED website. I think that we really need to be challenging the current views of teaching and how children are learning. Watch the video below. What do you think?

Okay WOW! This is cool… I didn’t even know this site existed until today and this is exciting!! I am really pumped to learn how to use this media and I think that this new bloggosphere is going to get things going.
